Meet the NCVA Judges’ and People’s Choice Winner of the 2024 K12 Game On Competition!

We are thrilled to announce that a talented student from North Carolina Virtual Academy has been selected as a Judges’ and People’s Choice winner in the 2024 K12 Game On Competition! 🎉 This nationwide competition showcased the creativity and innovation of young game developers, with students submitting incredible educational video game ideas.

With so many outstanding entries, the judges had the tough job of selecting just one winner per grade band (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12). One NCVA student stood out for their creativity, originality, and dedication, earning the top spot in their grade band! Thanks to your votes, their game also stood out as a fan favorite, receiving the most public support in their grade band!

🏆 Congratulations to Silas, a 6th grade NCVA student, for winning the Judges’ and People’s Choice Award in the 6–8 category!
